Diane J. Harrison
is No Longer Practicing Law in Florida
Ms. Harrison began closing her practice in 2014. And in 2016 decided to follow in her father's footsteps by acquiring a small plumbing business. Unfortunately, in April 2018, The Securities and Exchange Commission filed a law suit against Ms. Harrison . As discussed above and below, Ms. Harrison was no longer practicing law at that time. Consequently, in 2019, to settle the matter, she consented to an entry of Judgement, which, among other securities prohibitions, prevents her from practicing law before the SEC.
In retrospect, I must admit that I was not a very good attorney. There were things I should have seen and done, and things I should not have done. I never intended to do any thing illegal, but I may have been less than diligent in my duty. And I do very much regret my actions and inactions that contributed to the SEC's law suit and that may have cost anyone to lose any money..
Since November 2016, Ms. Harrison has been the majority owner of Backflow Acquisition Corp., dba Howz It Flowin Agin, a local business for testing and repairing residential backflow prevention assemblies ("BPAs") in Manatee and Sarasota, Florida counties.. She is also a testing and repair technician, certified by the University of Florida Training, Research and Education for Environmental Occupations ("UF/TREEO"). UF/TREEO's Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Program is the only Florida Section of the American Waterworks Assocation accredited program in the State of Florida: https://howzitflowinagin.com
